The main objective of the research is to find keyword phrases that profitable so that you do not waste your time when optimizing your website for these keywords. There are some people argue that the keyword with three words length or more is not profitable. Though the keyword that consisting four or five words have low competition, but with a little amount of search.

The length of the keyword should not be a guideline in the keywords research, put greater attention to the number of searchers, competition, relevance and potential for monetization.

There is no certain rule for the number of searchers. The more search volume, much better. You cannot create a website without doing keywords research because your benefit depends on the volume of visitors. After searching the number of visitors, analyze your competition. Here you will find a competitor for your keywords in the search engines. 

It is not wise if you choose keywords that have a tight competition. Intense competition can be seen from the PageRank, domain age and number of backlinks. You will find good keywords on search engines if the competition shows that there is a single domain with age less than one year and has a page rank of three or less. Websites with many backlinks does not mean getting a good position. In this process, you can analyze your competitor’s backlinks. You can even copy the backlinks from your competitors.

After you do this, you will get the keywords that have enough searchers with competition level that you can handle. The next process is the content creation. Please note that the content you write must have relevance to your keyword. Relevance is the key so that your articles get ranking for your desired keywords. If competition is weak, you can get good rankings without any backlinks. Put the keyword in the title of the article because search engines give more attention to that section.

You can get a good ranking if you have keywords with low competition. If you are still difficulties in obtaining rankings, give backlinks to your article. Find backlinks from websites that already have authority. Better to have little quality backlinks instead of have many garbage backlinks.
